Joe Lategan’s editing tutoring is hands-on instructional workshops designed to teach you the fundamentals of editing and retouching your photographs, and how to apply what you learn the next time you take and edit photos. Hardus, Joe's personal photo editor will be the principle tutor.
During Joe Lategan’s Basic Photo Editing Workshop, you will learn how to edit and retouch your images to produce photos that stand out from the rest.
Course 1 will be the fundamentals and course 2 intermediate. During our two day , 5 hour per day instructional workshop we will teach you how to use your photo editing software’s most important features, settings, and how each one affects your photo. The session primarily focuses on teaching you how to edit your images, but the instruction will also apply to how you take photos in the future. Decisions made before you press the shutter button have a dramatic impact on your final image, so our Photo Editing Workshop not only helps you create a fantastic final image, it will change your approach to actual picture-taking and improve your overall photography skills.
The session covers basic photo editing techniques in Photoshop that apply to any editing software you currently use
What We Will Teach You
Our workshop will give you a practical overview and specific techniques covering basic editing terminology, workflow, and the most important and useful software functions, including:

• White Balance

We will teach you basic touch-up techniques such as softening skin tones, improving color and tone, increasing contrast for sharper images, cropping, and applying creative filters to make images compelling and dynamic.
